    At 37 years old at 165 pnds my polar watch was telling me that I was burning about 1400 calories in 90 minutes during my bodyweight circuit training. This summer, my hart rate at rest was at 46 B.P.M. at the age of 46 years old. At my prime at 25 years old, there was no watch to count the calories yet. How would it rank with your recruits?

    Complete B.S None of these items were weapons of war !!! The weights are wrong. It should be 16lb light stone. 22lb heavy stone. 28 lb for distance and 56lb for height. Hammers ar 16 and 22 lbs. Cabers can be as short as 12 feet and as long as 18 and vary in weight from 100 to 160lbs. Amazing that someone can make up such crap those "hammers" were used for fence posts or the ball was used to drop down chimneys on a rope and pulled up with "Broom" a plant to clean out the soot.

    The stories behind the events are mythical, but we Scots do love a myth, so it's all good. Another explanation for the caber toss was impromptu bridge building to gain military advantage. If you work in forestry, it's nice to build some reserve with a caber

      Seth Hall and it’s the guy that thinks working out 4 hours a day on “maintenance calories” on top of multiple intensity sessions is possible to do without anabolic use. He literally said he would do anything to win and he has that psychotic look in his eyes that I’ve only seen before from super human athletes drive to be the best from athletes that I train. I don’t like false pretenses just as much as I don’t like people that don’t realize how to pick up nuance and somebodies energy when theyre telling you something without telling you, because the subconscious is real. He doesn’t want to lie but HAS to, to remain sponsored and keep his brand post CrossFit for longevity purposes ... but he isn’t telling you the truth, tho he is subconsciously. Because the subconscious pushes truth to the forefront, especially when it’s a lie he feels he should be ashamed of. I don’t blame this dude. I blame the people that believe him... You probably have NO idea how popular GHB or its precursors are to fitness athletes, CrossFit in particular. Look into it Seth, or YOu are the one leaving ignorant comments on RUclips Edit: THAT is what’s up, you? Edit edit: I don’t hide who I am. I would say I prefer my body because with my responsible anabolic use I’ve been able to maintain EXACTLY the physique i want and EXACTLY the type of training that gets ME results. Rich found what works for him with his responsible use and that should be promoted not impossible truths to people that come me to train them like Rich Fronig... it always results in them learning the truth of the industry from me and some walk away and some are actually Interested in pursuing it. It’s possible to train natural , sure. But you won’t have the body you want for demand you put your body through because it’s literally impossible to maintain muscle mass when you’re extending yourself with intensity and duration like he does, intermittently fasting and on reduced calories. This is where my frustration lies. Not because he has a better body than me, because I’m 5 inches taller and look the way I want to look. Major in both psychology and philosophy at a private university, then train clients for 10 years and get more and more into the fitness industry and you see these guys projecting all over the place. I can just read it better than most. I’ll cut you some slack Seth, but if you’re passionate about defending you should learn the other side of the argument to see why so many people comment like me. Learn about anabolics and how they can be used Therapeutically. Not everybody is a bodybuilder that abuses steroids just like not everybody is an alcoholic. Rich is responsible and likely always has been. Yes he is “fitter” than be by any definition of the word, but I’m fitter In a healthier mindset/balance sort of way because THAT is what is important to ME. So it breaks my heart to see him lie when know he’s literally using it to recover but HAS to lie. If anything I’m compassionate with my comments because it must suck for him to not be honest because he seems like a straight forward guy in all other aspects .. which is why you HAVE to read non verbal communication when it comes to him and understanding his predicament. Be responsible with your RUclips posts and look into the other side of arguments if you want to consider yourself “an expert on PED users and and non users” especially when you’re replying to RUclips comment that somebody who is more passionate than you, that actually is an expert in the field of protocols for athletes both natural and non natural, training programs, and mindset coaching the way I do. And yes, I will take the time to respond to any RUclips comment sent my way because I don’t leave many. But I AM a professional and considered an expert in all the fields I just mentioned because I’m constantly self educating as it is and I listen to more than peoples words because I wouldn’t be good at my job if I didn’t. I responded before I saw you are literally still a kid ... if this dude helps you, all good man. Really. I want the best for you. Reach out if you think I can do anything to help you, because I will. And I’m not talking anabolics I’m talking about me sourcing you some information where you can learn about these things yourself

    Their turnouts look a lot lighter. We still have the GX’s from like 2000-2010 era. Very heavy for starters. Our helmets are the traditionals. Considering we have two Engines, two Brushes, one Squad soon to be Medic and two Battalions I think we need a gear upgrade. Traditionals are a nice fit but personally I’d feel a hell of a lot more flexible and safer with a metro or XF1.

  • @280StJohnsPl
    @280StJohnsPl 5 лет назад

    You don't need to train wearing turnout gear or a mask.......it's not going to improve your workout. Try to make your workout job related if possible. Forget about bench pressing and heavy squats and deadlifts, all have their place but the idea is to get fit, not injured. Many things can be done right in the firehouse without weights.....climb the sliding poles with only your hands, do pullups off the tip of the aerial ladder, do bear crawls on the floor, drag and carry sandbags ( can be made from sea bags/duffel bags) You are only limited by your imagination

      Kostas it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Keep out of trouble and participate in your community as often as possible. For fitness get used to high intensity workouts and use a 60+ weight vest if possible so you can be used to wearing turnout gear. Also learn how to control your breathing when doing these types of training with weight on you, that’s major key
